Amy Kmiecik joined Global Verification Network in 2013, initially in a sales capacity, but was quickly recognized and promoted due to her extensive experience with customer support and her keen skill in relationship building. She previously graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Communications. Upon graduation she leapt into the competitive world of marketing where she worked as an Account Coordinator and was responsible for managing mobile marketing teams and maintaining sound communications between crews, clients, and on-site contacts. After 3 years in this role, she moved abroad where she worked in hospitality in Australia and taught English to orphans in Thailand. Following her travels, she took on the role as a Staffing Consultant where she was responsible for full cycle recruiting with a focus in overseeing the background screening process (Including reference checks and drug testing). It was during her time as a Staffing Consultant where she first found a passion and interest in the background screening industry.
